Scholarship Rules
The Fullblood Simmental Fleckvieh Federation (FSFF) will award two (2) $1,000 scholarships each year. One in the spring of the year and one in the fall of the year, to be used by the recipient during the current or next academic year.
The following qualifications must be met to apply for a scholarship:
- Applicants must be a FSFF JR member in good standing for at least the previous two (2) years.
- Applicants must be at least a high school senior at the time of application. Students are eligible to apply for financial support for their education at an accredited post-secondary vocational/technical school, college, university, or graduate program, up until the final year of their education.
- Applicants are eligible to receive the scholarship only once during their post-secondary school career.
- Application must be completed through our online form.
- Spring applications are due by May 7th and fall applications by September 10th.
Awarding the scholarship:
- All applications meeting these requirements will be considered by a review team named by the FSFF Board.
- The scholarship will be awarded based on the information submitted in the application, transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Preference will be given to students based on their involvement with agriculture and Fleckvieh Simmental cattle, demonstrated leadership, and plans for future involvement in the field of agriculture.
- Scholarship funds typically are forwarded directly to the school at which the student is enrolled.

Austyn Peters of Rivers, Manitoba, Canada was awarded the 2025 FSFF JR Scholarship. Congratulations Austyn!
2024 Recipient – Coy Stephen

Coy Stephen of Montrose, MO was awarded the 2024 FSFF JR Scholarship on September 20th at our Annual Meeting! Congratulations Coy!
2023 Recipient – Jacob Moore

Jacob Moore of M5 Farms in Kingston, Georgia, was awarded the 2023 FSFF JR Scholarship. Congratulations Jacob!
2020 Recipient – Logan Smith

Logan Smith of Log Land Farms was awarded the 2020 FSFF JR Scholarship by Chairman Randy Plaugher at the Magnolia Classic Sale October 2020. Logan is an outstanding young lady and a great representative for the FSFF and the Fleckvieh breed. Congratulations Logan!
FSFFJr Scholarship History
In October of 2016, Brink Simmentals/Robinson Cattle Co., Rugged R Cattle Co., S/M Fleckvieh Cattle, and Stanley Martins Farms each donated frozen genetics lots to Little Creek Farm’s Magnolia Classic sale. 100% of the proceeds generated by these four special lots were used to establish the FSFFjr scholarship fund.
